so glad i stuck to my plan to stop here for something sweet enroute to inawashiro station from the lake. from the sweet potato they've dried themselves, the piped bean paste art and bits of raspberry on my plate, the handwritten menu to the knick-knacks dotted amongst the decor, the care they take and attention to detail had me in awe. despite my poor understanding of both the service time for lunch/desserts and the menu items (my brain must've been half off looking at maps last night ) this lovely family-run cafe didn't turn me down. instead they were warm, friendly and chatted so patiently with me about their feline family members even though this was a super busy time for them. i left with a full heart and satisfied sweet tooth. hope to come back for a proper lunch someday~ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
