You know what you’re getting when you step into a Denny’s in Japan. The food is average, but the ordering system and the service are like clockwork. It’s a shade or two above fast food. Drinks bar is expensive if you don’t eat, but worth it if you are having food. Main meal prices are around ¥1000-1500 for a decent portion. Desserts in the ¥500-700 range for a sundae-style sweet. Food comes out fast, so ideal for a quick bite or a family meal in an informal setting. Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
