My husband and I were at the DeNunzios Monroeville on Sunday. A situation occurred that was absolutely horrific. A waitress who I will not embarrass by mentioning her by name but she is a petite blonde and has been there for years. She is always kind and goes out of her way to help people. What my husband and I witnessed was appalling. A cook got in her face SCREAMING at her for a void. She was trying to explain she still needed the chicken tenders. My husband heard this because she was coming from the restroom . The poor waitress was in tears. I'm sorry but this is UNEXCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR. This was verbal abuse from this man, over a mistake!?!?! He was screaming at her, "If you don't like it GO HOME AND CALL RONNIE!" ??? I will say that I give her credit, I would have walked out! In my opinion he should be fired immediately!! We have been regular customers for years, and this is nothing against DeNunzios. This woman is one of the kindest people you could ever meet. No reason for her or any other employee to be subjected to that kind of behavior!!! These cooks come and go and they are getting worse. We customers hear them!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very disappointed. Had dinner with friends, one who is gluten free. We picked this restaurant because of a review on line regarding the great gluten-free choices and the knowledge of the wait staff with gluten free options. We found this to be the complete opposite! When asked what salad dressings were gluten free, the waitress recited all of their selections. Again asked which are gluten free and she recited again and said i don’t know. The restaraunt was so incredibly noisy it made talking opposite impossible at times. Most of this was due to the staff dropping plates or just throwing them into the dish pans while clearing tables. There was no regard for the customers trying to enjoy a nice dinner. We waited an hour for our meals. When they arrived the pasta was floating in water on the plate with sauce just plopped on top of it. We have been to Denunzio’s in Latrobe and have always been very pleased, this was a bitter disappointment.
