The place is for serious pool players, but it's very friendly and inviting for those who just want to have a bricklayer's cinnamon after a long, sweaty day at work. Lots of good beers, a lot of good taste. 1 hour at the pool table is 20 reais and a chip on the radio is 10 reais. There are people of all kinds, I even met a senior c++ and pearl programmer who spoke to me about the Brazilian programming marathon. Hard truths. The waiters are very friendly, they treated us very well and didn't make fun of our lack of billiards skills. If you just want to unwind, go there. I highly recommend it. Parking: Because it is close to Hapvida, the street is sometimes busy with family members worried about their loved ones in the hospital. But in the surrounding area there are several uncrowded streets full of security guards who monitor cars and movement. Kid-friendliness: There is no playground or playground there.
