I think the food quality at Deshi Kitchen varies depending on the item, at least for me. Their khichuri is probably the best in Khulna. The vorta and vegetable items are also really good and flavorful. Their kacchi biryani is one of my personal favorites too — especially for people who enjoy lighter kacchi made with chinigura rice. The main issue for me is their meat dishes. I often find the curry a bit bland, though that could just be my personal taste. My biggest disappointment has been the kebab section. I’ve ordered their barbecue and tandoori multiple times, but not once did I find the meat soft or tender. I’m actually someone who doesn’t even prefer overly soft meat, so it’s usually easy to satisfy me in that regard, but even then, their meat still felt too hard.
