I was excited to try Desi Bites Food Truck after seeing good reviews, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. The wait time was much longer than expected, even though there were not that many people ahead of us. When we finally received the food, everything did not taste fresh. The flavors were very underwhelming and lacked the authentic taste I was expecting from desi street food. Some items were overly greasy, while others were bland and poorly seasoned. For the prices they charge, I expected much better quality and authentic taste. Bhelpuri had no Cucumbers, tomatoes or any fresh ingredients. It was murmura added to store bought mixture with too much garlic. The service also added to the frustration. Staff seemed rushed and uninterested, and it felt like customer service was not a priority. We had questions about the menu, but the interaction felt cold and hurried. Overall, the food simply did not live up to the hype. There is definitely potential because the menu sounds great, but the execution was far from impressive during my visit. I hope they improve the food quality, consistency, and customer service because right now I would not return or recommend it based on my experience. Yesterday I ordered chicken curry with butter naan, and it was an absolute nightmare. The chicken curry smelled like it was already halfway to rotting. Seriously, it felt like they dug up leftovers from two days ago and just reheated that garbage. One bite was enough to make me regret everything. And the butter naan? What a joke. It was thick, stiff, and chewy like a damn rubber tire. Calling that food is an insult. Who the hell is running this place? This kind of trash should not be served to anyone. It’s shocking that this place is still open. Do yourself a favor—stay the hell away from this restaurant. Don’t bring your family, don’t bring your kids, don’t even think about eating here unless you want to waste your money on absolute crap. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

We ordered the boneless chicken biryani, garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, mango lassi, and samosa. My husband and I were blown away by how good it was! Everything was cooked to perfection. The mango lassi was tasty too. And honestly, $37~ for all of that is not bad at all. And we love supporting food trucks, so it’s worth it! I took one star off for the customer service. The person who took our order wasn’t bad, and she was helpful. But the person who handed me my food was maybe having a bad day (I get it). We will still be going back anyway! The food was that good.
