If you’re craving real-deal South Indian and Hyderabadi food in Utah, Desi Kitchen is the spot. The Hyderabadi dum biryani is the star fragrant, properly layered, with that slow-cooked depth you only get when it’s done right. The spice was perfect, and the meat fell apart the way it should. Chitti punugulu were a happy surprise, crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside. Great with their chutneys. And the Irani chai? Easily my favorite thing on the menu. The cup that makes you slow down and order a second one. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Absolutely loved the food here! The biryani was full of flavor and perfectly cooked, and the starters were amazing. The punugulu is a must-try — crispy outside, soft inside, and super tasty. Great taste, good service, and nice ambiance. Will definitely visit again! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We did try Guntur chicken, goat geeh roast biryani and weekend goat pulav all of these are very good and must try options if you love spicy Andhra food. chicken tikka masala and naans for kids let down not up to mark could have been better and wait time was almost 45-50mins during weekend so brace for it Overall this is new restaurant and doing great with atmosphere and food taste Price per person: $40–50 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Dietary restrictions: Do ask the restaurant as they may contain nuts and milk products
