Have known about Deus Cafe for years and had never visited. Decided to go on one of the busiest days of the year, the Two Oceans marathon. Traffic was horrendous in and out of Hout Bay, nonetheless we decided to pop in (parking very limited). Very trendy spot with heaps of different spaces for seating. Looks like they have a fantastic breakfast menu which unfortunately stops being served at midday .They have a great bar set up with a host of local beers on tap, a quaint bakery situated in the back of the restaurant with delicious confectionery treats and plenty seating area outside which seems to be connected to Saggy Stone brewery. There is also a retail store at the front of the shop sporting Deus apparel. I ordered the double crunch chicken burger and to be honest it's one of the best chicken burgers I've had in a very long time. My girlfriend had a chicken salad which also had heaps of flavour and colour. We will definitely be back to try their brekkie menu in the near future.
