A lovely meal in a good English pub. We had the meal indoors then out to the garden for coffee. Perfect way to spend a hot afternoon. Price per person: £20–30

The last time we ate here was over 21yrs ago and it’s still as fabulous as it was back then. So welcoming when I called to book a table earlier in the evening. Dog friendly too. Very busy with locals when we arrived. The menu was impressive and so were the beverages on offer. Lovely friendly staff , behind bar and waiting tables. Our food was utterly delicious and the portions extremely generous. The ambience is terrific inside. A thoroughly wonderful experience here and we would highly recommend this pub. Parking can be tricky but if you dine earlier it might be ok. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
