Lovely all around. We sat outside (the host gave us shaded spots :)) and it was gorgeous out. The clam chowder was delicious and the scone that came with it was like an upgraded cheddar bay biscuit. A wonderful local favorite with a spacious, wood-paneled interior, but we sat in the back patio, which was packed yet not overly noisy. The food for our group of six was great, including pizza and Caesar salad. And the perennial favorite, the lobster roll sandwich, has great service as well. Tried the French toast platter. Bacon was alright. Sausage, I'd prefer a classic American breakfast sausage, but it was alright. Scrambled eggs were alright. Blueberries were all good, none sour. French toast was good. Home fries were good. They had a nice crisp texture like good fries. Slice of cantaloupe was fine.
