My current favorite restaurant in Honolulu. I recommend the beef tendon, orange chicken, and spicy wonton but everything we've tried has been fantastic. The service is always great and it's a very cozy spot. The Taiwanese beef noodle soup is hearty and has a homemade comfort feel. If I'm in this neighborhood, I would pick up a bowl. The garlic Choy sum was simple and hit the spot for me. I would definitely come again to try other meals on their menu. I've only done phone orders and picked up my food. Boss lady was polite and quickly took my order & I arrived in 20 minutes. Parking is limited so you may have to wrangle for street parking. The restaurant is small and homey.

I was invited to go to Dew Drop Inn for dinner and all I can say is wow. I have never tried this place before and it really was great. Let's start off with the food. This is Northern Chinese cuisine so it's not like the traditional Cantonese food you see around town. I don't get to eat this style of cuisine very often so I truly enjoyed it. The dumplings and pork chops were some of my favorite items. They also allow for BYOB which is great. The restaurant is rather small so if you have a big party I would recommend that you call in advance to get seating. If not, you may not be able to find a spot or have to wait to be seated. The service here is great and the staff is very friendly. I wish I knew about this place sooner. If you are looking for a new spot to try then give this place a shot.
