I have traveled a lot for my jobs over the previous 40 years. I have had fish sandwiches all across the US. The fish sandwich I had at The Lampost was the best I have had anywhere! Ever! Very nice, large piece of white fish, hand dipped in batter and perfectly fried. Generous amount of tater sauce. A perfectly done fish sandwich and tasted incredible. And we had the absolute sweetest waitress. So friendly and attentive. She made the meal even better. Stopped for lunch while traveling through town, great food and great service. Very nice restaurant inside as well. We had the smoked pulled pork, chicken tenders, mashed potatoes and gravy, and smoked baked beans. We'd definitely come back if we lived here.
