A truly rare and memorable experience! We originally intended to go to the restaurant next door but after seeing the queue we decided to take a chance on Gruppo Di Rienzo; and that turned out to be a fantastic decision, with us getting a table immediately. The food was outstanding, and to my non-Italian tongue, like nothing I have tasted on my trip yet. The service was stellar; we didn’t want to spend much so we didn’t get a pudding. But when we requested the bill we were offered a pudding on the house, with them saying “no meal is truly complete without a pudding”. Finally atmosphere, with a violinist playing in the background with a backdrop of one of Rome’s most iconic builds the pantheon; lest I say more. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €40–50
