I used to live in Bamberg and miss this place every day. I would show up alone every week with my Kindle because I had no friends in Germany and eventually they started putting out a seat for me in the corner because my German wasn’t good enough to make a proper reservation. I made a huge mistake not realizing that Germany asks for tips to some extent — although not the degree done in the USA — but was never mistreated as a result. Thank you for taking care of me while I was homesick. My fondest memories of Germany are those I spent in die Küche, a small walk away from where I lived. I hope to come back someday to reinvigorate my love for their caper-berries in beef tartare. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
