Dimassis is a great buffet. Probably my favorite in austin. The greens are fresher than you would expect for a buffet and the meats are so good. Ive been back twice since I was introduced to this restaurant and I intend to come back. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. It is priced well too. Highly recommend if you have not been. One of the only places I will eat with my vegan friends. As someone who travels often, I can confidently recommend Dimassi's Mediterranean Buffet. From the ambience to the presentation—and most importantly, the food—this place really stands out. It’s pretty common that when people experience authentic food abroad, it’s hard to find something comparable back here in the States. Whether it’s Mexican food compared to Mexico, Asian food compared to Asia, or Mediterranean food compared to what you find in the Middle East or along the Mediterranean region, there’s usually a noticeable difference. That said, having traveled through parts of the Mediterranean and the Middle East, I can honestly say the food here absolutely scratches that niche. The flavors are well-balanced, the variety is solid, and everything feels thoughtfully prepared.
