Thalappakatti Paris is an exceptional find for anyone seeking authentic South Indian cuisine right in the heart of the city. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and exudes a warm, inviting ambiance, making it an ideal spot for a leisurely meal. We visited Thalappakatti Paris for lunch and were thoroughly impressed by the quality and variety of the food. We started with the fish fry, which was a revelation. The fish was incredibly fresh, coated in a perfectly spiced batter that provided a delightful crunch while keeping the inside tender and moist. Next, we tried the chicken 65, which was equally impressive. The chicken pieces were crispy, juicy, and bursting with flavor, perfectly balancing the heat and spices. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the mutton biryani. Prepared in an authentic South Indian style, the biryani was aromatic and rich with spices, featuring tender pieces of mutton that melted in the mouth. The rice was cooked to perfection, each grain separate and infused with the flavors of the spices and meat, making every bite a delightful experience. To round off our meal, we enjoyed a mango lassi, which was refreshingly delicious. After our delicious and satisfying lunch, we encountered a con couple who approached us with a fabricated story about Dubai, leading to a potentially dangerous situation. Thankfully, our quick thinking and alertness helped us avoid what could have been a very unpleasant incident. This experience served as a crucial reminder to stay vigilant and never let our guard down, even in seemingly safe environments.Despite this incident, our lunch at Thalappakatti Paris was nearly perfect. The quality of the food, the cleanliness of the restaurant, and the exceptional service make it a must-visit for anyone in Paris looking to enjoy genuine South Indian cuisine.
