Every year I come the dingy dock, it gets worse... the fish/batter are poor quality-small peices, soggy and no flavor. Also the place is really run down, the seats all have duct tape on them. Only redeeming qualities are the staff and the drinks. Please do better, really disappointing. Price per person: CA$40–50

Great experience! Our family took the protection island ferry to the dingy dock. The Dinghy Dock Pub is a really unique experience. Located on the water surrounded in dock space so you can cruise up in your dingy or paddle board. The decor is nautical theme of course ! The food was really taste we tried the crab cakes with a salad, fish & chips , kids fish & Chips and the prawns with onion rings. Everything was delicious! The Dinghy Dock is a PUB so if you go with kids and or minors you won't be able to sit inside the main Pub. But the have a really nice patio area and family section. Also you can walk from the dingy dock pub to Protection Island which was something I was wondering about but couldn't find online. Go for a walk and check out the island. There's also a fishing hole on the Dingy Dock patio so of you kids bring a hook and line you could get some peace and quite for a bit while you eat :) also a photo op at the entrance. Staff at the reasturant are fantastic , great service. Beautiful location and a must see. Thanks for a great day.
