We stayed in Akiruno for 2 weeks and we were looking for a friendly izakaya. In a smaller city, as foreigners, we wanna be respectful to businesses as we know it can be awkward sometimes. We really enjoyed KAI! One server was super helpful as he spoke really good English! it took us by shock! We met a very friendly couple also. The food and drinks were great! It felt very welcoming.
