The veal was okay. Pasta was not amazing. I felt off from the moment we arrived. Tried to sit us very quickly. Once we sat it was an immediate grab of water and then “complementary” bread. “Complimentary” bread was stale. Waiter was nice but immediately started alluding to being overworked and needing tips. Food came out, was okay but very small portions. Started reading reviews because it felt off. Saw they charge £40 for everyone. Luckily an online review had some mentions of expected cost. Turns out they were trying to charge us £4 for the bread which was three pieces of stale bread. Tried asking for a receipt with per line item costs and they didn’t bring it out. Eventually charged us £35 instead of £40 after we were visibly upset. Make sure you ask for charges as they are trying to swindle money out of you. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
