Food was incredible, particularly the lamb chops. Service was friendly and attentive. Nice atmosphere. The staff took them time to actually talk to you even though they were busy and learn about you as a customer. Did nice touches like gave us an umbrella in the queue, nice chilled glasses. Been to several dishooms, this has been my favourite for service. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £50–60

We visited Dishoom Leeds on the launch day (yesterday), so naturally it was incredibly busy, but we were lucky enough to get a table. We tried the Malwani Lamb Curry with Lacha Paratha, the Chicken Kathi Roll, and the Kala Khatta Sharbat, and every dish was packed with flavour. The only thing we missed out on was the famous chai, which had sold out by the time we ordered. Understandable on such a busy launch day! The next day(Today), we found ourselves back again... mainly because we couldn't stop thinking about the Chicken Kathi Roll! This time we were served by Will. While chatting, we mentioned we'd visited yesterday and had missed out on the chai. Without hesitation, he made sure we finally got to try it which was complimentary. We were also surprised with a complimentary Dishoom Masala Chai tin and a little charm to make up for yesterday's experience. We were genuinely over the moon. It was such an unexpected and thoughtful gesture that completely turned a small disappointment into a memorable experience. Despite the restaurant being full and the team constantly on the move, Will somehow made every guest feel looked after. He even took the time to learn our names after we mentioned we'd be visiting regularly. It wasn't just great service. It was genuine hospitality. You could tell he wanted every single person to leave with a smile. Great food is what makes you try a restaurant. Exceptional customer service is what makes you keep coming back. A huge thank you to Will for making our visit so memorable. He's a real credit to Dishoom Leeds. If this is the standard of hospitality from day one, Leeds has gained something truly special. We'll definitely be back... for the Chicken Kathi Roll, the chai, and the warm welcome. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
