Deliciously authentic Indian food with friendly staff.

Hubby and I had the jackfruit breyani with the black dhall which was rich and decadent...Okra fries with the 3 condiment sauces were crunchy, yummy and not oily at all.

Our kids had the chicken ruby and the mutton pepper fry. They loved their dishes. For dessert we had the pistachio kulfi which is a must! And the bottomless masala chai is a must! We loved our experience at Dishoom and the caring, observant and welcoming waitrons added to our special experience!
What’s all the fuss! I like dishoom but not a fan of its Indian food. There’s always a queue. I am coming dishoom for over 4 years now but I always feel that they could do better with food. Nevertheless it is always packed and I don’t mind a kingfisher with okra fries.
Worst dishoom branch i've tried - lamb kabab was overcooked and burnt, with the meat dry and tough. Mutton stir fry meat was also dry and tough. Garlic naan was also rather tasteless compared to other branches. The lamb in the lamb biryani was also disappointing. The only decent things we had were the ruby chicken curry and chicken tikka which were cooked properly and tasty, as well as the lassi.
