Food was nice but not amazing. Lovely, simple, authentic takeaway venue. Prices listed don't seem to be important as was overcharged. Plenty of other venues in the area to try. Service: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $40–50 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Divine India are aptly named. Their vegetarian pea and cashew dish, (kaju methi malai mutter), is absolutely divine!! I've been a fan for years, but have only just tried their cheesy garlic naan. Oh wow, so delicious! My meatosaurus husband is very happy with the variety of dishes on offer, and is always delighted with his meal. Their food is such high quality, and the service is always so friendly. I highly recommend! Service: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Chicken Lamb Korma, Lamb Jhalfrezi Vegetarian options: My favourite vegetarian dish is kaju methi malai mutter, (peas and cashews). Amazing texture and flavour.

There is unquestionably no better Indian food in Kapiti. I eat from here most weeks, sometimes twice a week! These people love cooking genuine Indian food with quality ingredients, it is their passion and you can really get this in everything they cook. There is nowhere else in Kapiti nor the greater Wellington area that even comes close, not by a mile. Happy to recommend to anyone who wants good food.
