I used to love this place. However, the burgers are no longer hand pattied (seems to be frozen), the seafood isn't great (doesn't seem like the fryer oil is changed regularly), My wife tried to warn me. I really wanted to give them a chance. This was my very last time eating here. I guess even your childhood favorites can't last. Price per person: $10–20

I'm 60 years old, The Dixie Drive-In is as great today as it was when I was a youngster. The food was off the chain! In fact I had a co-worker ask where they could get a real hamburger and I said the Dixie. They had never been. They got a hamburger and hotdog and said it was the best they ever had! The Dixie Drive in is a throw back to great food and congratulations to them for staying with their great food and service! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
