Nestled in the aged West Exit Market building near Kashimada Station, Django is a quaint culinary spot in Kawasaki. This restaurant specializes in Sri Lankan cuisine, offering an intriguing variety of spice-infused dishes that many might not expect to find here. The intimate setting boasts only seven counter seats, making it a more personal dining experience.

Django is known for its traditional spice curries that combine authentic flavors with a concentration developed through careful simmering. Reviewers have noted the distinctive use of spices and minimal oils, setting it apart from typical curries one might expect. Patrons have enjoyed unexpected complimentary items like a well-balanced lassi alongside their meal, adding a unique touch to their dining experience.

Dining at Django seems limited to lunch hours, but specific operating times remain a mystery. The location's obscurity may have impacted its foot traffic, suggesting that while the food has potential, the venue does not receive many visitors. The scarcity of recent reviews or updates, especially with the last review dating back six years, suggests a significant gap in current information from the owners. For those intrigued by hidden gems and diverse flavors, Django offers a slice of culinary exploration on Kashimada.
