If you are looking for an incredible culinary escape not far from Paris, you absolutely must visit Djerba Hood in Trappes. This restaurant is a true hidden gem that offers an authentic, immersive journey into the heart of Tunisia. I had the pleasure of dining there recently with my Tunisian wife and a dear Tunisian couple who are close friends of ours. As an Italian, I truly appreciated how the restaurant bridged our cultures through the universal language of excellent food. It was the perfect setting for a wonderful evening together. The food is nothing short of exceptional. There is a fantastic selection of traditional dishes, all prepared with high-quality ingredients that really shine through in every bite. Everything we tried was delicious—and the portions were wonderfully generous, ensuring we all left completely satisfied. Even better, all of this comes at very fair and honest prices. Beyond the plate, the restaurant provides a total experience. The atmosphere is further enriched by live music that transports both your mind and palate straight to the Tunisian coast.
