We parked in this restaurants lot for the beach festival at Holden Beach. Then we learned the owner had ten cars towed the day before. After finding this out, we moved our car. We returned later to enjoy a meal but called earlier to confirm they were pet friendly. The girl on the phone said it should be OK as they were at the end of the season. We were going to sit outside with our pup. However, the owner declined our request. Sounds like a real nice guy. Huh? Towing cars. Not customer friendly. Went to smacnally instead, and it was great.

Our family was in Holden for our vacation and decided to give Dock House Seafood & More a try. We arrived around 5:20 and was told it would be a wait for an inside table but not an outdoor table. We opted for outdoor and was then told by the hostess that it would be a 30 minute wait. A few of us decided to go to the bar to order a drink while we waited. One bartender was working! She was not in a hurry and a few of us ended up just walking back outside without drinks due to the wait and her having no help. When we were seated, we had the best waitress. She definitely took care of us. The food was delicious- highly recommend the fried pickles, redneck egg roll, Caribbean Jerk Pork Chop, and burgers.
