It’s ages since I first tried the Docklands Fish and Chips Restaurant but in chilly weather and with an American/Lebanese guest/tourist anxious to try real English Fish and Chips, the Docklands was historically the obvious choice. Offered the choice of cod or haddock, 2/huge perfectly cooked cod fish fillets were ordered.which arrived with huge portions of piping hot chips and mushy peas. My guest said it was the best fish and chips he had ever tasted. The place was busy but the serving staff were up to it. Kid-friendliness: Children’s portions served and children are well treated. Wheelchair accessibility: Both sections of the restaurant are at ground level with easy access to the extended dining area.
