We have used this pub for meals for many years, including Christmas and birthday lunches. We visited recently and were really disappointed. Two of the chairs at our table were near to collapse, so we swapped them with an empty table. We ordered medium rare sirloin steaks the were over cooked, tough and cold. The waiter said he would have to check with the Chef/Manager and came back to replace. The replacements were better but the chips are obviously frozen ones and very dry. There were 5 cherry tomatoes and a little bunch of rocket leaves not what we expect for £16.99. Also our friends had finished their meal by the time we got ours. It was very disappointing for a birthday meal so unfortunately we will not be rushing back!
