The natural surroundings are breathtaking, but the true soul of this place comes from the elderly couple running it. Word is, the owner is an absolute legend in the Japanese coffee scene, and honestly, this cafe has become a legend in its own right. Watching the two of them craft coffee with such low-key, undeniable passion was incredibly moving for me as a founder. They are so genuinely kind and clearly deeply in love with what they do and where they are. I had a latte, and it was unreal. Rich aroma, full-bodied taste, and milk foam that was practically flawless. Pure perfection in a cup.
