Opening hours show open, you drive off the motorway and then company holidays. The café could have been marked as closed. Service: 1

As beautiful as Marktbreit is - but if you stand in front of a café on Sunday lunchtime that is advertised as being open but is currently closed for four weeks due to company holidays, that's disappointing

The café is quite clear and we looked around the corner to see if there might be a free table in the second, even smaller room. There was only a 1/2 cake, a cranberry tart. The boss whispered to the waitress whether they should grow something for us. Actually we should have left straight away, well, we squeezed ourselves into a small table and all 4 legs of my chair were wobbling. The boss looks into the room and I waved to order something. She looked sullenly in my direction and shouted “immediately”. She demonstratively went first to the neighboring table, where the children were just undressing, but she made it clear to me that she was in charge here. We ordered a café and cranberry tart, the piece of cake was very flat and very narrow for €3.90. The coffee was thin. If you want to spoil your Sunday and like bad-tempered staff, you've come to the right place. We'll give the café a wide berth in the future.
