My favorite Italian restaurant! I’ve never had a bad experience and I always look forward to visiting. The pasta tastes so fresh and the sauce is what keeps me coming back. I visited yesterday and forgot the younger gentleman’s name who was our server but he was amazing. We were at the tall tables against the windows before the bar row. He made our sweet tea sweeter which was perfect. He checked on us multiple times and the food came out so fast we weren’t expecting it. I asked for an extra sauce to go and he made that happen. 5 stars all the way, this is the best place. Y’all always knock it out of the park with service, food, atmosphere, and quality! Dolce Niente is a little hidden gem on the north side of Houston. The food, service, hospitality and vibe is 10/10. Dailyn was our server and he was fantastic. There to help us navigate the menu, explain the dishes and was there to talk about history on dishes. Jenny was a fantastic bartender who was a fantastic mixologist. Mervin needs a shout out too! He was great. Fabian the chef even came by our table. You can tell from the first bite that the ingredients they use for every dish is the highest quality. Pizza and flat bread were delicious. Marinara taste fresh like it was make from a grandmother in Italy. Pepperoni were top tier quality. Not the garage at most restaurants that are thin and cheap. Both the bolognese w/ meatballs added and the chicken piccata was absolutely amazing. Trick is to ask them to chop up the chicken on the piccata. The fettuccine Alfredo we had also was made the traditional way. Served on a hot plate and then mix together. Lastly we had the 40oz porterhouse. It was perfectly cooked. Medium rare of course. For desserts we had the crème brulee, cheesecake and the strawberry shortcake cake. Overall a fantastic experience and highly recommend anyone to give this place a try. Also love that it’s an open kitchen so you can see how perfectly clean they keep it. This evening we went over to a Dolce Niente for an early dinner. Where we were treated to a fabulous meal of flatbread, bolognese with a beef, veal and pork meat sauce with added shrimp, grated cheese and cracked black pepper. Finished off with a chocolate & peanut butter cannoli dessert. All paired with an Italian red wine with tobacco and mocha flavors. We shared the dishes as they are perfect for two. Not many nice places you can go, share a meal along with a bottle of wine for only $80 (not including tip)! If you happen to be near the area or want to try a new place to dine, check out Dolce Niente Ristorante Italiano, at 3784 Rayford Rd Suite 600, Spring, TX 77386. They also have a very nice large outdoor seating area! Bon Appetit! Parking: Pull up. Get out. Enjoy a great meal!
