My sister and I were at the Blue Ash Dolly's former Big Boy on the last day of operation we had amazing service even though our server told us she found out the day before she only had one more day to make money there how depressing she still gave her all and treated us so wonderfully she truly is her weight in gold I ordered the burger and fries so did my sister are burgers were undercooked the french fries were amazing my sister got an amazing long hair in her mayonnaise since it was the last day they were out of a lot of things the customers before us got pancakes last batch I came in for pancakes I think there's something lacking in the management in the corporate level that's why dollies didn't survive. We gave Dolly’s in Blue Ash a try after it opened and found it to be nearly deserted at dinner time. Service was slow, prices were too expensive, and portion sizes were too big. Perhaps if we had hungry teenagers, this might have been acceptable, but former Frisch’s customers don’t typically want oversized portions with high prices. This is probably why “Dolly’s Burgers & Shakes, the Cincinnati concept that Michigan-based Big Boy launched this spring in Southwest Ohio, will close all its locations on Oct. 23.”.
