I placed an order through Careem and the driver arrived at the restaurant. After around 40 minutes, the restaurant cancelled the order. When I contacted the restaurant, they claimed that I had cancelled the order through the app, which is not true. They then said they no longer had the items I ordered and shifted the blame onto me. I understand and accept cancellations due to items being out of stock. However, cancelling the order after a long wait and incorrectly blaming the customer, along with the lack of communication between the restaurant and whoever was handling the calls is very unprofessional.
