What a challenging but very worth reservation to book! It was my honour to visit Doryang with my husband’s best luck to be able to book a table for lunch to celebrate my pregnancy. We ordered 3 famous dishes: Dongpa Pork, lamb fries and stir- fried eggplant with fish sauce. All foods were definitely beyond our expectation! Dongpa Pork was literally melting on the tongue, cant believe it was a meat, felt more like smooth velvet, which was really impressive as we saw from TV show. Stir- fried eggplant was another hidden gem. The full meaty flavour of prawn was very fulfilling, and also went really well with fried egg plant around. The sauce was very rich and gives extra deep flavour to the food indeed. Lamd fries is also another charming one! I was bit hassled to order it initially due to lamb’s usual unique smell. However, the lamb smell was not that strong and will be easy with everyone I guess. The unique cumin smell mixed well with lamb and spring onion, and we really enjoyed our lovely meal there. The star chef (Chulgabang chef) humbly came out to the hall and greeted every tables in person which was another memorable experience too. His smile and warm heart gives extra points to these great amazing foods for sure! I really appreciate this lucky opportunity visiting Doryang, and highly recommended to everyone!
