Love it. Started coming here in the 1970s and it has remained my family's favorite Mexican restaurant since that time. Even though I now live in Northern California, I come back down here several times per year and always stop in to eat.

We have been coming to this location for many years and today was the first time I experienced terrible service. It is also the first time I have had an insect in my food. We ordered flan for dessert and today the added bonus was an ant floating in the sauce. We advised our waitress who asked if we wanted another one. No thanks.... The manager, Dwayne, advised that he has no ants in the kitchen so perhaps it fell from the ceiling in a condescending tone. Well it came from somewhere and we certainly didnt bring it in with us. Good customer service goes a LONG way and Dwayne you are coming up beyond short.

Don Jose's has some of the nicest waiters and servers not to mention the best bartenders Javiier my favorite.We have been going there for Sunday brunch sense it opened in the 70's, Really nice people there on Sundays we eat in the bar and have become friends with many people. The food is good we like the feitas,chips and salsas.
