Nestled in a quiet neighborhood of Kobe, Don offers a cosy and casual dining experience. Located on Kagoikedori, this charming eatery is known for its great coffee and quick bites, particularly popular among solo diners. While you can enjoy table service for breakfast or a delightful dessert, note that the restaurant does not provide delivery services. The establishment keeps it simple with cash-only payments, so plan accordingly when you visit.
Don presents a welcoming yet tranquil atmosphere. Visitors have pointed out the absence of wheelchair-accessible features, English-speaking staff, and English menus, given its local clientele. Patrons frequently mention the unique pairing of drip coffee with a hard-boiled egg and homemade treats like the cheese cake as highlights. Despite its modest size and less conspicuous location, the warm presence of the operator, an elderly lady, adds a personal touch appreciated by many familiar faces.
Operating from Monday to Friday and on Sundays, Don opens its doors from 8:30 AM until 4:00 PM. However, recent information from the owner is lacking, and there have been no updates in the last four months. This quaint spot remains well-regarded for a leisurely sip of coffee amid Kobe's off-the-beaten paths. Remember to explore local parking options, as there's none available directly at the restaurant.

I really liked this place. It's a drip coffee store with some food options. As far as I can tell every coffee comes with a hard boiled egg. There's no English spoken, and no English menus, as this is in backstreets of a neighbourhood not frequented by tourists. This place is delightful and well worth a visit.
