You can always enjoy tasty mexican steaks, chicken enchiladas and shrimp tacos - a special offer of this steakhouse. The wine list is extensive, it can satisfy the needs of all clients. The appealing waitstaff welcomes visitors all year round. Prices at Don Q claim to be fair. You will definitely appreciate the exotic atmosphere and fancy decor. As for the Google rating, this place got 4.7.

I really wanted to like this place, as the decor was cool, the staff were friendly, and most of the dishes were well presented. But the taste of the food fell flat and it was all style over substance. The ceviche appetizer was decent and the deserts were pretty good, but the main entrees were lackluster. The X.O. Pork Chop I ordered lacked seasoning and the Kahlúa glaze just didn’t work with it as it made the overall dish too sweet. The pork chop didn’t have crispy edges like the ones I’m accustomed to in fine dining restaurants. My sister didn’t like her enchilada and my dad didn’t like his chile relleno so I wasn’t alone. The only real highlight here was the Poblano Soup which is served with the main courses and had a really unique flavor. I think the biggest let down was how high this restaurant was rated on Yelp and Google so that brought up my expectations and then I’m reminded that this is still Atascadero and the food doesn’t hold a candle to restaurants in LA or the Bay Area or even Paso Robles. The food here was like eating at someone’s house who’s an okay cook but not what I’m looking for in a restaurant. For restaurant quality Latin fusion try the excellent La Cosecha or Fish Gaucho in Paso Robles. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

We do not doubt that you have your favorite places to go out to eat and have a great time as well with your guests. Not to mention that the X.O pork shop that you ordered literally just left the bone on the plate. Our reviews are people who come with a open mind to experience something new and not be comparing as you mention, if your experience was not pleasant and it was not what you expected, this is definitely not a place for you and we totally respect your opinion and your comments. but that does not define us as you mention Fortunately we have excellent restaurants in Paso Robles that they can offer you the experience that you and your family members are deserve it once again thank you for your visit to our establishment MR.Q TEAM More
