Hands down the best place to eat is Islita. Miguel is a creative master and a delight to see in action. We’ve been visiting Miguel and enjoying everything he has to offer for the better part of 20 years. Everything is always fresh, unique, and beyond delicious. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! This restaurant is walking distance from Hotel Punta Islita, and the resort can accommodate rides to and from the restaurant. Don Ramiro is family owned and operated and the food is only rivaled by the service! My girlfriend and I spent the night eating, drinking, dancing and conversing with the staff and locals. I cannot wait to return to Costa Rica to spend another night at Don Ramiro!! You will not regret visiting this hidden gem! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
