This was easily the best avocado shake in Boston. Avocado, boba, quarter sugar. Hope they reopen. Thank you! :)

This place has everything you need for the Chinatown experience: boba. I was a big fan of their green tea sesame and their lemon grass chicken. They had a friendly staff and reasonable price points. It was a good place while it was still here. Can't wait to go to their new Quincy location tho!

*** 5/2019 *** It was hot, so I decided to treat myself to a watermelon shake at New Dong Khanh.  $3.50 for the smaller size. Turns out, I wasn't the only one!  So I had to wait for the folks who arrived before me to be served before I spotted one of the two behind the counter sticking watermelon wedges into a blender with a spoon and a half of sugar, and a scoop of ice cubes. It was tasty, but the ice was chunkier and crunchier than I prefer. Found out that they use powder for green tea, almond, and taro drinks. *** 7/2019 *** My friend prefers the pork chops at New Dong Khanh over that of Pho Pasteur. *** 8/4/2019 *** I wished New Dong Khanh a fare thee well with my final meal here of pork chop over fried rice with fried eggs.  It was my first time getting either adjustment to the meal.  They were terribly sweet in offering a 10% discount on this their final day, and then celebrating later that night with cake and milk tea on the house. Actually, my very last DK meal was an order of their lemongrass chicken to go.  The huge chicken leg was terrifically moist, and a satisfying end to this era.
