Bottom line up front, the Donut Chef has the best donuts in Westmoreland County. If anyone has a doubt about that, just stop by on a Sunday morning in any weather and you will see a line outside the front door. Many of the regular customers make some long round trip drives just to get our donuts from here. Beyond the usual favorites like the pretzel donuts that many rave about, there are many unlike offerings not found at the chains and other establishments, and there are almost always some type of chef's seasonal special pastries and there are special cookies as well.. With the quality of mass produced bread and rolls found in grocery stores that seem to quickly turn stale or mold, the Donut Chef is one of our two preferred places to get a variety of fresh breads and rolls from as well. It is a 20 Mile round trip for us to go here, but the drive is well worth the ride!

Fantastic donuts that everyone should try at least once in their lives! Put it on your bucket list!!! The new ownership is keeping the same iconic recipes while also adding new flavors like the Oreo donut and chocolate Bavarian cream! Can't wait to go back!!
