Expected home cooked vegetables and peach cobbler. Fried chicken was delightful. Other food was just ok but it was very busy for a Tuesday Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $50–100 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Red Beans and Rice with Fried Chicken, Fried, Lavender Lemonade

Ok, so it’s been a minute (+10 years) since I’ve been to Dooky Chase Restaurant. They flat out blew me away. The atmosphere is still culturally relevant to New Orleans but the menu and the food in on a whole other level! Had the crab cakes, BBQ shrimp, Dooky’s toast, and Crawfish étouffée!! The Dooky’s toast is the NOLA spin of bruschetta! I could’ve ordered 2 more servings! Please put this restaurant on your list! Finally, I Love that they are serious about Covid protocol. Bring that vax card or a negative test, with your ID!
