Nestled in the quiet area of Yaguchi, Doremi is a cozy restaurant that offers a welcoming atmosphere and a taste of homemade flavors. While you won't find it widely listed on popular dining platforms, those who do discover this hidden gem speak highly of its inviting ambiance and friendly proprietor. Known for being particularly welcoming to solo diners, Doremi fosters an at-home vibe that reminisces the Showa era's simplicity.
Although specific operating hours are not widely published, frequent visitors appreciate the personalized touch in the Korean-inspired dishes, like samgyeopsal and garlic rice, which are available by reservation. Cash is the only accepted payment method, and table service is offered. Accessibility might be a challenge as there are no facilities tailored for wheelchair users. Guests can enjoy small plates and a selection of alcoholic beverages, including beer, all while indulging in the comforting setting.
One standout aspect is the custom culinary experience, where patrons' faces and preferences are remembered, sometimes allowing requests for special dishes. Resting quietly outside the bustling scene of conventional modern restaurants, Doremi thrives on personal connection and flavorful offerings. Despite lacking recent updates from the establishment itself, memories of delightful meals and warm conversations continue to foster affection for this unique venue among its patrons.
