My husband was told that this is the place to see and eat at when you travel just outside Anchorage. It was extremely dark inside and unbelievably packed. It definitely has a reputation and people talk about their food. I was expecting a real cajun food. It is a steak house that has very few cajun food options that are not that great. I used visit Everett WA where we would eat at Alligator Soul. A local spot ran by a guy named Bilbo from Louisiana I base all my cajun food off of his food. My steak had toothpicks in it. My husband was expecting cajun hot and while it had some spice it didn't have that cajun heat we were expecting. I ordered my kids the fried to chicken to split and it was really good. I also felt the prices were astronomical. Wait Staff seemed a little put off by our menu questions and extremely pushy on ordering more alcoholic drinks Over all we came we saw and wont ever go back. Service: Dine in Price per person: $30–50 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 Recommended dishes: Shrimp and Sausage Jambalaya, Cajun Fried Chicken, Peppercorn Steak
