This place has become mine and my girlfriend's regular date spot. It was here where we first started going out and its here that we still come to treat ourselves (sometimes twice a week!). The staff are so lovely, welcoming and so hard-working. It reflects in their food! We find ourselves craving their pho (noodle soup) and recommend it to anyone who wants a good meal in the heart of Liverpool. Working our way through the menu here and everything has been fantastic at each visit. Phó Dāc Biêt (w. all the meats) - 10/10 Cóm Súòn (pork chop w. rice) - 10/10 Phó Xào (stir-fry noodles) - 10/10 The OG pork Bánh Mì - 100/10 !! Appetisers like their summer rolls, the spring rolls, pickled salad, and pork belly skewers are all absolutely delicious. Unbelievable value too for the sheer quality. Nice vibe, super friendly & welcoming staff.. probably wise to call and book a table, even weekday evenings, as it's always seemed pretty busy. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30

Doux Chaton is a lovely family run Vietnamese restaurant in Liverpool. The owner is Vietnamese, and the food has a nice touch of authentic home style flavor. The interior is simple and cozy, with some Vietnamese decorations that create a relaxed atmosphere. You order at the counter, and the staff bring the food to your table. We ordered two large bowls of pho and they were huge! The portions are incredibly generous, definitely great value for money. The broth is on the lighter side, probably adjusted for local tastes, but still quite flavorful and comforting. The fried spring rolls were crispy, not greasy, and packed with filling, especially good when dipped in fish sauce. The fried chicken wings were golden and fragrant, perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy inside. Overall, Doux Chaton is a great spot for a satisfying Vietnamese meal, tasty food, big portions, fair prices, and a friendly, homely vibe.
