DownLow Chicken Shack is seriously amazing! The chicken is crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor, and the portions are generous. I got the OG Sando with their seasoned fries, and everything was delicious. Great food, great vibes, and definitely worth coming back for! A must have. Possibly the best chicken sandwich I've had in Toronto. It's not your usual dipped in hot sauce chicken sandwich either. This has a depth of flavor. A mix of spices and this hint of honey. Added that it's enormous, this is an absolute must. You have to try their sweet tea. Unlike any sweet tea I've ever had I wish I could buy a case of it. Came here with a few friends and were welcomed by Jasmine. She explained the menu which seemed straightforward but had a couple of options that were helpful in deciding. I ordered the Paisano with fries. Sandwich was incredibly juicy and well seasoned throuought. Exterior was very crispy and didn't break apart. The definition of what a fried chicken sandwich should be. Portion size is massive and the krinkle cut fries were hot, crispy and seasoned to perfection. Of all the chicken sandwiches in Toronto this one stands out. A must try, and the staff were all so friendly and helpful, they even brought our meals outside as they have a small patio out front.
