My wife and I were looking forward to coming here, to enjoy Asian fusion. It would be our first date in months after getting our child. She picked carefully after reading several reviews and were expecting good service. We reserved well beforehand and arrived on the dot, not a minute too late. The hostess told us that the were no tables available, and that we should go to one of the neighboring places to have a drink, since the bar was also full. We should report back after 20 minutes. She did offer a drink later though once we returned, to be fair. We went to Cafe Schinkelhaven, not far from Dragon i. Being punctual, I returned after 20 minutes, leaving my wife behind at the table we managed to find at Schinkelhaven since I suspected the situation wouldn't have changed. Indeed, after 2 other young waiters told me that their colleague would assist me shortly, the same young woman informed me that she had no tables available at that time and likely would still take some time. Much to her surprise, I told her I wasn't going to wait anymore and that they don't quite grasp the concept of reservations, since this by construct means you do not need to wait. They were either opportunistic and allowed other non-reservering guests to take our reserved table, or double booked - either is unacceptable. I left the place with the hostess left in an Asian ConFusion state. The burgers at Schinkelhaven were brilliant, with some Edelweiss.
