Bought 2 pickled onions £2.80, like could have bought a whole jar for that. I'm not one for complaining, but just pure greed with these prices. Problem is, it's a tourist trade, so they don't have to work hard to keep local custom, and that, my friends, is the truth of it. 2 fish cakes, this is the little piece of fish in the first one, the rest was 95% potato, just a rip-off, won't go again. Been going regular but will not go again fish was mostly brown normally nice white chips notgood alsocomplained but still charged full price said they had changed the vendor shame now poor quality Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Been twice in the last 3 months. Dined in both times. Both times, the food and service were excellent. Traditional English fish and chips done splendidly. I would recommend Drakes to anyone visiting Ripon. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20 Recommended dishes: Fish & Chips, Mushy Peas
