It was around 6:20 a.m., just before dawn in winter, and there were quite a few customers even though it was so early in the morning. If you're going to eat at Drive-In Michishio, it might be a good idea to limit it to the morning. Have breakfast here while traveling from Kyushu to Honshu or vice versa. For locals, it's after the night shift or before going to work. It's probably just before dawn that there's a magical atmosphere, but as the shellfish soup you're sipping crosses the still-black sky of dawn, a mysterious trip feeling pervades your body. Perhaps it would have been a different impression if it had been during lunch, when people were surrounded by the worldly world. Even though they are open 24 hours a day, they have a unique atmosphere that Sukiya and Yoshigyu cannot provide, or rather, a real, exposed atmosphere that excludes external tastes.It is also the appearance that is full of gaps between the customers who are present and the aunties serving customers, and the service hours. It's shellfish soup from China that has long passed. Moments like that feel good.
