The lunch menu was very good and is highly recommended. You can choose between about 4-5 dishes each! Warm bread with tomato paste was served beforehand. Very tasty with the olive oil. Cream of asparagus soup and rigatoni with wild garlic pesto were also excellent. So also suitable for vegetarians. The rooms are tastefully decorated. A star deduction for the lady in service, who was a bit snippy overall. All in all a very good experience. We'd love to come back. Parking: The central location in Wiesbaden city center means that parking spaces in the immediate vicinity are difficult to find. It's best to go to one of the surrounding parking garages. I wanted fish, but the menu only had breaded Dorado, I focused on whether they could make it without breading, I checked with two waiters several times, they assured me that yes, they would just grill fish and vegetables, in the end they brought fish breaded with vegetable puree... to answer my questions, why is this so, and not as requested and promised?! They answered that they couldn’t cook it like that. Naturally, I refused the dish, since I don’t eat anything like that and not what I asked for and was promised. So they also tried to explain to me that I was nervous and did not understand everything correctly) and they also wanted me to pay half the cost of the dish, which I immediately returned. My husband's truffle risotto was too salty. And the most unexpected thing is water for 9 euros. Extremely bad experience. The restaurant “Due Amici” in Wiesbaden is simply fantastic! The food is of the highest quality and the selection of dishes is impressive. Whether you choose pasta, pizza or a delicious meat dish, you won't be disappointed. The dishes are freshly prepared and full of flavor. Unfortunately the mussels were already sold out last night but I was quickly recommended another good dish. But not only is the food great, the wine is also of the highest quality. The wine list offers a wide selection of exquisite wines that pair perfectly with the dishes. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable and is always available to make recommendations. The atmosphere in "Due Amici" is cozy and inviting. No matter whether you are planning a romantic dinner for two or a social evening with friends, you will immediately feel at home here. All in all, I can only warmly recommend "Due Amici". The food, wine and staff are simply first class. A visit to this restaurant is an absolute must for all foodies and wine lovers.
