Dulce River is pretty near J&R Vintage Auto Museum. Many people visit this confectionary restaurant to taste perfectly cooked bacon. Based on the guests' feedback on Google, Dulce River deserved 4.1.

The coffee was good. The cupcake was really good. The breakfast burrito was so so. The customer service was excellent. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $1–10

Came to Dulce River for the first time. Walking in there was only a mom and daughter infront of me and maybe a couple people sitting in the cafe and one couple behind me. (Not crazy busy or something). So I was never greeted or welcomed. When I was ready to order at the counter the lady was not nice and the tone in which she talked gave off a rude vibe. I ordered the combo (sandwich + chips + 16 oz drink). Then a couple pastries. I was over charged from the price said and I mentioned something to the cashier, she said she’d fix it but from the new total it was only $2 cheaper??? So I paid and then looked at my receipt at my table and I was still over charged. I brought my concern to another worker that happened to come out from the back she explained “since my drink was a latte that’s why I was charged more because that’s not included in the 16oz deal.” First of all There was no signage regarding the up charge (which I’m fine with) and when I ordered this was not mentioned!!! She said well the girl is busy and continued to just try to shut me up. She said she’d refund the drink price which she did an appreciated. But at this point it still took over 30 minutes to get an iced cinnamon latte. All just a takeout order. I hate to leave a bad review but it’s not okay as a consumer who spends their time and money. I went in this morning to treat my two friends. The food was good but the girl behind the counter was very rude. I only gave her a tip because I didn’t want look cheap to my friends, but once we sat down, they said they won’t even go back there due to her behavior. So sad because we want local places to thrive.
